We started our mini horse herd several years ago in south Florida. When we recently retired from our jobs, we decided to buy an even larger farm here in the lush, beautiful, green hills of Walling Tenn. We brought with us, every last horse, goat, llama, dog, cat, parrot and reptile we had. And what a journey it was.
We are very proud of our appaloosas. They were all hand picked for small size, double registry, refinement and pedigree from all over the country. There are currently 28 horses residing here at Osowaw Acres.
We come across a lot of animals (domestic as well as livestock) needing rescued from time to time. We get them the food and medical attention they need and deserve and on occasion we will adopt them out to approved homes. Currently residing at Osowaw Acres are 17 pigmey and Nigerian dwarf goats, 2 Llamas, 13 cows, 5 parrots, 12 snakes, 6 dogs, 7 cats, a lot of chickens, 3 donkeys and of coarse 28 horses with one very over worked human.
